The Sacrament of Penance, also known as Confession or Reconciliation, is a beautiful encounter with God’s mercy. Through this sacrament, Christ forgives our sins, restores our relationship with Him, and renews us with His grace.

In Confession, we acknowledge our sins with sincere repentance, receive absolution from the priest in the name of Christ, and are encouraged to begin again with hope and peace.

Whether you have been away from the sacrament for weeks, years, or even decades, you are always welcome. God’s mercy is always waiting.

The Sacrament of Penance is celebrated on Saturdays prior to the 6:00pm Vigil Mass. Each week, many parishioners, city workers, visitors, and pilgrims come to Mary Mother of the Church to experience God’s forgiveness, peace, and healing.
